The evoself model is being extended by J.S. McCaskill in the following directions:
- Extension to spin-1 model (Schick-Shih model) in order to allow proper treatment of micelles and vesicles
- Extension of formalism to pattern based self-assembly
- Uniform treatment in inhomogeneous environments
- Exploration in 3D : e.g. tubules vs. vesicles
- Experimental phase space microreactors
