The European Center for Living Technology received substantial funding from the Fondazione di Venezia, to establish a laboratory for the ECLT, to pursue artificial cell research. The formation of the laboratory includes the participation of P.-Luigi Luisi, and several members of his group. The research focus will include evolutionary design of experiments pioneered in PACE.
